MUMBAI: Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan, better known for his film Lahore, has signed special effects and mechanical effects director John Palmer for his upcoming yet untitled film.

Chauhan intends to make a sci-fi film.

Palmer, who has worked for films like Armageddon, Apollo 13, Species II, Star Trek, Deep Impact and The Day After Tomorrow, specialises in designing UFOs (Unidentified Flying Objects), space suits, space rover and space crafts for films.
 
Commented Palmer, “India has always been on my planner, but I am finally going to be there because of Sanjay. I was to come to India almost 20 years ago along with Speilberg but unfortunately the project never took off. It is like a dream come true for me.”

Chauhan will soon be casting for the film that will go on the floors.. soon. A portion of the film will be shot in Nasa.
