Mumbai: Ssohini Mitra joined in January 2023 as senior vice president of Rose Play at Rose Audio Visuals Pvt. Ltd. Mitra shared the development via a LinkedIn post.

Mitra has over 19 years of experience in the creative, digital, and production fields, as well as being the author of "The Black India" and the founder and CEO of Avant Garde Films.

According to her LinkedIn profile, Mitra’s experience is both extensive and non-traditional, ranging from daily operational management to big-picture planning. "She is privileged to lead a very talented team of designers and artists through the maze of creatives, production, and post-VFX," it added. "She hosts other leadership/management things to expand her horizons: inspire her teams, mentor and coach, hire people who are smarter than her, take on speaking engagements, develop new businesses—you get the drift."
