MUMBAI: Leading direct-to-home (DTH) operator Tata Sky has exhibited remarkable agility in adapting to TRAI’s new tariff order. From crafting unique packs to making its interface simple to use for consumers, the Harit Nagpal-led company has put its best foot forward to make the transition easier for all stakeholders.
The DTH operator has now revised 25 of its well-liked regional language channel packs, which include Gujarati Regional, Hindi Starter HD, Tamil Family Sports, Telugu Family Sports, and Kannada Family Sports among others.
As per the latest changes, price of the Gujarati Regional pack has changed from Rs 7 to Rs 8.49. The Tamil Family Sports pack will now cost Rs. 254.27 as compared to the previous Rs. 267, while the Telugu Family Sports pack is now available at Rs. 282 instead of Rs 285.
Hindi Starter, Hindi Starter HD, Kannada Family Sports, Kannada Family Sports HD, Kannada Smart, Malayalam Basic, Malayalam Family Sports HD, Tamil Family Kids Sports, Tamil Premium Sports and English, Tamil Regional HD, Tamil Telugu Basic, Telugu Family Sports HD, and Telugu Kannada Basic are the other packs that have undergone a price revision.
The DTH player recently made available to consumers four new broadcaster packs starting at Rs 49.
Earlier in the month, Tata Sky slashed prices of its HD and SD set-top box in India.
Tata Sky subscribers will now have access to more channels under the Gujarati Regional, Tamil Family Sports, and Telugu Family Sports packs.
