MUMBAI: Star Sports, India’s leading broadcaster and the ‘Home of Cricket’ has premiered its third season of ‘Follow the Blues’. The weekly show, which began on 21st May 2019, will focus on the ‘Men in Blue’ and their World Cup journey to bring the #CricketKaCrown back. Season 3 will feature exclusive interviews, net sessions, media interactions, behind the scenes action and a lot of fan fervour.
The first episode of ‘Follow of Blues’ featured the pre-departure press conference of Captain Virat Kohli and Coach Ravi Shastri LIVE for fans across the country, exclusively on the Star Sports network. Follow the Blues will take fans on a journey highlighting everything about cricket and beyond throughout their stint in England. From team jamming and going for dinners, to Virat’s favourite eatery in Southampton, the show captures all the unseen action all the way from England.
‘Follow the Blues’ will air on every India match day at 9 am on Star Sports 1 and Star Sports 1 Hindi. In addition to the weekly episodes, there will also be a daily segment of ‘Follow the Blues’ at 2 pm on Philips Hue Cricket Live on the Star Sports network.
#SelectDugout will be back for two India matches played against New Zealand and Bangladesh on May 25th and May 28th, respectively. In addition to this, #SelectDugout will be available for all the India matches and on all Sunday’s.
India will start their World cup campaign against South Africa on June 5th followed by Australia and New Zealand on 9th and 13th June respectively. The much-anticipated clash between India and Pakistan is scheduled to be played on 16th June 2019.
The ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 will be broadcast on the following channels starting May 30th:
