Kids and toon fans now have another channel to latch on to in the evenings. 

With the launch of the Turtle Island series on its new half-hour cartoon slot at 7 pm, SABe joins the bandwagon of channels that are targeting kids' leisure hours with animation programming 

The Turtle Island series will be aired on Toon-Time from 19 November on weekdays. Dubbed in Hindi for desi audiences, Turtle Island is being telecast on Indian television for the first time. According to an official release, the cartoon series combines swashbuckling adventure with well executed animation. 

The Turtle Island storyline centres on an island that is being eyed by every pirate for the magnificent treasure the Tiki Flying Sea turtles have collected over a long period. King Tiki, the last surviving royal of the Tiki Flying Sea turtle dynasty and his friends try their best to protect the island from Captain Minus and his crew who are attempting to take over the Island.
