MUMBAI: As part of its efforts to leverage its music-based reality show American Idol Fox will unveil a special American Idol: International Best Of The Worst. The special airs on 19 May.

The global phenomenon has travelled far and wide including India where Indian Idol recently completed its first run on Sony. The Fox special will air some of the most funny, outrageous and, just plain, awful Idol auditions from around the world

Meanwhile, Fox will also launch a comedy attack on 1 May with Animation Domination. This includes two back-to-back episodes of The Simpsons. The first is the series' milestone 350th episode.

In the milestone episode titled Don't Fear the Roofer Stephen Hawking plays himself and Ray Romano does a guest-voice. A storm hits Springfield, causing the Simpson roof to leak. Unable to keep a roof over his family's head, a downtrodden Homer seeks companionship at a bar called Knockers.

There, he befriends a beer-loving roofer, Ray who agrees to help Homer with the repairs. When Homer's new best friend never shows up, Marge and Dr Hibbert conclude that he's a figment of Homer's imagination and place Homer in a mental hospital.

But Homer and Ray may have the last laugh.
