'Mr & Ms Bollywood'- Sahara's new talent hunt

MUMBAI: Sahara Manoranjan and Percept D'Mark are to initiate a nationwide talent hunt called 'Mr & Ms Bollywood'.The exercise is being embarked upon to unravel new talent of 30 potential film stars. The talent hunt will take off in the first week of March, and following suit will be a number of road shows across the country that will be hosted by well-known film personalities.

 
Percept D'Mark which is into high profile celebrity management is all set to conduct and supervise the logistics of the event, which is being supported by Sahara Manoranjan.

Abhijeet Sarkar, head, corporate communications, Sahara India, says: "The Sahara India Parivaar is known for its commitment to the entertainment sector. This sector is witnessing massive growth, and we believe this is only the beginning. Events like 'Mr & Ms Bollywood' are an investment in the future."

An advisory board comprising of Karan Johar, Mahesh Bhatt, Raveena Tandon, Asha Parekh, Ashutosh Gowarikar, Smita Thackeray, Sarika, Ken Ghosh, Ashok Salian and Manish Malhotra has been constituted. The panel will decide the process of selection and will also play an integral part in the direction setting process for the talent hunt, says the press release.

Auditing the selection and elimination process will be Ernst & Young to ensure smooth functioning of systems.

The advertising campaign and distribution of forms will commence March onwards.
