MUMBAI: ESPN Star Sports will air a 13 episode series, saluting Rahul Dravid, the new skipper of Team India, starting 1 November. The programme is placed in the 7:30 pm slot.
The series will be hosted by Harsha Bhogle and will telecast a collection of some of the best innings played by Dravid overseas that have established him as a cricketing genius along with interviews taken on the day of showcased innings, states an official release.
"The Wall, which features 13 of the best knocks by Dravid outside India, actually chronicles the evolution of Dravid from a talented young cricketer to the mainstay of Indian batting line-up," ESS V-P sales and marketing Sricharan Iyengar said.
"Cricket fans in India love to re-visit some of the glorious moments that this great game & its stars have provided over the years. Programmes like 'Indian Legends' & 'India Glorious' have received positive feedback from the audiences. 'The Wall' is a part of a larger initiative to showcase the best of India cricket on our network. We will soon launch more such programmes," he added.
