Vikatan JMD Srinivasan B says, "UTV's professionalism and business focus add a lot to the marketing of the program. We believe the relationship is a win-win one for both parties and are happy that UTV will market our program."

Alli Rajyam is a complete laugh riot with the plot revolving around the protagonist, Anbalagan, the only 'sane' member in a large family and his love for Dr. Chitra, betrothed in principle to him at the age of six. Ironically, even though the latter is ready to marry Anbalagan, the feud between the two families create a host of problems that prevent the wedding from taking place. The comic situations built around the story and a number of comic characters, keep up the tempo and leave the audience in splits, states an official release.

UTV currently markets several programs on Sun and Gemini TV, including Kolangal, a daily show on Sun TV, also produced by Vikatan Televistas. UTV has in the past marketed Annamalai, Avargal on Sun TV and Shivaiah Seethamma Ma Yamma on Gemini, the release adds.
