Fifa launches contest to push World Club Championship in Japan

MUMBAI: Football's governing body,Fifa, has announced the launch of the SuperFan Contest for the Fifa Club World Championship Toyota Cup Japan 2005.

 

The contest is online at www.fifa.com. Through the SuperFan Contest, Fifa is offering the fans of each team participating in the Fifa Club World Championship Toyota Cup Japan 2005 the opportunity to win a free trip to Japan to cheer their team.

 
 
One fan and guest of each of the six participating clubs will win a prize package that includes round-trip airfare to Japan, accommodation and match tickets to witness the continental showdown for the right to claim the crown of club world champion.

 
The event takes place in Japan from 11-18 December 2005.
