MUMBAI: The Advertising Club, Bombay, has organised a special treat for advertising creative afficianados on 12 September 2003.
The special screening of the 50th Cannes International advertising festival will be held at the Hall of Vision, Nehru Centre, Worli in Mumbai from 10 am onwards.
The Times of India (the official festival representative in India) and business channel CNBC (the official TV channel partner) are presenting the one-day screening-cum-exhibition of the award-winning entries which will be held throughout the day. The official air express partner, facilitating the delivery of the exhibits, is courier and logistics company DHL.
The Indian advertising fraternity kept the national flag flying high by bagging 15 Lions at the golden jubilee function of the annual fest held in Cannes, the south of France, this year.
Notable among this year’s exhibits are the display of international press and poster ads along with entries in the new categories of media and direct marketing.
