MUMBAI: The Taguig City government in the Phillippines will host the 2009 Cinemanila International Film Festival this October.
Cinemanila is an annual show of the best of world cinema to the Philippines that also showcase the best films made in the country to the rest of the world. The festival will run from 15 to 25 October will also have filmmaking workshops and master classes.
Cinemanila has promoted the best of Filipino films to world cinema audiences and has championed the development of new and independent Filipino filmmakers.
For this year‘s edition, Cinemanila has also launched the Machinima Film Festival, a new movement in filmmaking that features real-time animation made into film through artificial intelligence and digital puppetry.
