MUMBAI: On the occassion of the 10th anniversary of SpongeBob SquarePants, kids channel Nickelodeon has partnered with Sony Music Entertainment (SME) to launch the music album SpongeBob‘s Greatest Hits on 14 July.
The album will have 17 tracks of original music from the past 10 years of the animated series along with new hits like We‘ve Got Scurvy, an original song performed by P!nk. It will also have a remix of the SpongeBob SquarePants theme song performed by Cee-Lo Green of Gnarls Barkley.
Also, included as a holiday bonus track is Don‘t Be a Jerk (It‘s Christmas), a new song co-written by Tom Kenny (voice of SpongeBob) and Andy Paley.
Nickelodeon will also celebrate SpongeBob SquarePants‘ 10th anniversary with a number of DVD releases.
