MUMBAI: Ben Affleck is in talks to direct ‘Warner Bros‘ Line of Sight and also star in a thriller to be produced by Joel Silver and Andrew Rona.
The idea centers on an elite commando squad transporting cargo while dealing with a global threat. One of the conceits of the film is that it tells the tale from a point-of-view akin to a first-person shooter game.
The shooting of this drama set during the Iran hostage crisis has already begun. The movie is being shot in Los Angeles and will also briefly shot in Istanbul, Turkey.
Affleck has been moving almost non-stop as a filmmaker since his directorial debut, Gone Baby Gone in 2007. Hr followed it up with the 2010 crime thriller The Town that grossed $154 million worldwide.
