Slew of Hollywood techs engaged for desi sci-fi

MUMBAI: Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan, known for his film Lahore, has signed a slew of Hollywood technicians for a sci-fi film, his upcoming project.

The director has already engaged top-notch technicians and Hollywood consultants like John Palmer, Frederick Elmes, Tony Leung Siu Hung, Lisa Gerrard and Babba Maal and has recently roped in conceptual designer Imery Watson who was associated with films like The Lord of The Rings and Harry Potter 5.

Since the sci-fi is set in three time periods, it would require the immense expertise of Watson to give it an authentic look. Comments Chauhan, "I am lucky to have an all world-class crew for my project. Imery is another asset that I have added to my team and we all have seen the documented proofs of what he has rendered in Hollywood. Right now, I am in the casting process and soon shall be done with that."

Among other films that Watson has to his credit are Batman Begins, Sweeney Todd, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, World Trade Center, Inkheart, Alice in Wonderland, Gulliver‘s Travel and The Golden Compass.
