No Dutt, Warsi in Munnabhai 3

No Dutt, Warsi in Munnabhai 3

MUMBAI: By the way producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra is planning out things, looks like the Munna-circuit team is set to get a makeover. This means that the Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi team might not return with the next Munnabhai film, despite the duo contributing to the success of the earlier editions.

The main reason for the makeover could be the looks of the lead artistes. Dutt and Warsi aren‘t what they looked in 2006. And by the time the third version of the film is ready, it could be another couple of years and their looks could change further.

It is also being said that Chopra might get in a new director in place of Rajkumar Hirani who helmed the earlier two versions. It is also being said that since Hirani is very close to the Munnabhai series and even if he doesn‘t direct the third, he will be attached to the project in some way. Which means that he might co-produce the film with a new director in charge.

Some days ago there were reports that Do Dooni Chaar director Habib Faisal might step into Hirani‘s shoes. And now, we hear that the producer has approached Kites director Anurag Basu for the same.

The third edition in the Munnabhai series was supposed to be Munnabhai Chale Amerika, but recently we had reported that the Munnabhai Chale Amerika script has been dropped and something different has been envisaged for the third part.
