Ghost, Chaalis Chaurasi haunted by poor collections at BO

Ghost and Chaalis Chaurasi

MUMBAI: Poor performance at the box office has haunted the makers of Ghost and Chaalis Chaurasi. The other two releases last week, Sadda Adda and Tutiya Dil, have even fared more dismally.

While Ghost has netted Rs 68 million in its first week, Chaalis Chaurasi collected Rs 21 million. Sadda Adda and Tutiya Dil couldn‘t even touch Rs 10 million.

With almost two blank weeks behind, the starved cinema halls are betting high on Agneepath; speculations are made on the opening day collections crossing Rs 250 million as Thursday is the Republic Day holiday.

Players, despite no opposition, collected a mere Rs 49 million in its second week, taking its two-week total to Rs 265 million.

Don2 has collected a symbolic Rs 15.5 million in its fourth week, taking its four-week tally to Rs 1.10 billion.

The Dirty Picture has added Rs 3.5 million in its seventh week, taking its total to Rs 833.5 million.
