    MUMBAI: Four shopaholics and a dream store to shop from! Bringing alive the fantasy to shop like never before is lifestyle channel TLC?s new series, ?The Ultimate Shopper? where shopping is a competition. The show airs every Saturday at 8 pm.

    It?s shopper versus shopper as they hunt down the perfect look to fit the brief - from a date with the one that got away to impressing a new boss. Contestants will test their style creativity and quick-thinking fashion sense in a head to head contest judged by fashion experts including, pop singer and actress Holly Valance, fashionista Brix Smith-Start and street style photographer Paul Hartnett, along with a special guest judge. Watch these fashion freaks struggle to win some gorgeous new threads, shoes and accessories to add to their wardrobe.

    These self-proclaimed fashionistas come from all walks of life - from student to yoga instructor, vicar?s wife to eyelash bar receptionist, and even a full-time footballer?s wife. These strong personalities go all out to prove how much they know about dressing for the occasion and body type while letting their inner style diva shine. After each task is presented to the contestants by a member of the ?front row?, the claws come out as they grope through racks in their robes, hurry around in heels and snatch hand bags off the shelves and each other before locking in their looks all in twenty minutes or less. Once the fitting room curtains are drawn, there is no turning back on their style choices.

  • World's Weirdest Restaurants to debut in India on TLC

    MUMBAI: Canadian reality television series World?s Weirdest Restaurants is all set to make its India debut on lifestyle channel TLC beginning 1 January.

    The reality series produced by Paperny Films will air every night at 10 pm on the channel. The series follows host Bob Blumer as he travels the world searching for weird and unusual restaurants.

    From monkeys that serve beer in a Japanese tavern to the pride owners of Dick?s Last Resort take in their bad service, Bob seeks out the most unconventional and unique dining experiences across the world.

    Over 13 episodes World?s Weirdest Restaurants will introduce the viewers to the planet?s 52 most eccentric eateries and their out of box serving and catering styles.

    MUMBAI: Talk show queen Oprah Winfrey interviews singer Justin Bieber in ?Oprah?s Next Chapter: Justin Bieber -- A Worldwide Special? airing in more than 100 countries worldwide. The special will air in India on lifestyle channel TLC on 26 November at 8 pm.

    Winfrey attends Bieber?s sold-out Believe concert at the All-State Arena in Rosemont, Illinois and is given special permission to reveal to one lucky young lady that she was chosen among thousands of "Beliebers" to go on stage for Bieber?s signature "One Less Lonely Girl" performance. The next day, Winfrey and Bieber sit down at RL Restaurant in Chicago for a discussion.

    Bieber opens up to Winfrey about his growth as an artist, the pitfalls of fame and living in the spotlight. Later, the two go holiday shopping together at Chicago?s Ralph Lauren and Bieber surprises onlookers with an impromptu acoustic performance.

    MUMBAI: Lifestyle channel TLC will kick off the show ?Man V Food Nation? on 5 November.

    The show will air every night at 10 pm.

    TV host Adam Richman is back with a new objective. He gives up his seat at the dining table to let a new generation of fans try their hand at conquering their own hometown challenges.

    The show is the follow up to ?Man V. Food? as Adam continues his quest to bring the best eats and food challenges in the US.

    After three years of competition, he is on a mission to recruit people while he continues to showcase popular food joints across the US.

    Since the start of his journey from coast to coast, he has accumulated and inspired a legion of fans that have supported him in the 59 legendary challenges he has faced. On the show not only does he continue to sample the local flavour during his visits on the streets but invites his loyal fans to rise up to the occasion while guiding them during their once-in-a-lifetime chance to make it or break it in various food challenges.

    MUMBAI: Jewellery makes a comeback on lifestyle channel TLC with the new season of the local show ‘Oh My Gold!.

    The show will have a new host in former Miss India Nikita Anand. A guide to Indian jewellery, the four-part series airs every Monday at 9 pm from today 22 October.

    The new season will showcase the diversity and wealth of Indian jewellery‘s cultural heritage and our age-old love affair with personal ornamentation. There are also wonderful instances of how gold and jewels have transcended materialism and become an integral part of spiritual and religious custom, sanctified over the centuries. Along with the old and glorious, the spotlight is on what‘s new and exciting in the world of jewellery - contemporary trends in gold, diamonds, pearls and gems.
