    MUMBAI: Sony Entertainment Television (Set) is airing a specia series, CID Chote Heroes,from 1 February.

    Produced by Fireworks Production, this brand-extension series will air every Friday at 9 pm where, in each one hour episode,there will be a child who will play a substantial role in it.
     
    The channel airs C.I.D every week on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 10 pm.

    This series CID Chote Heroes begin with kids finding a dead body while playing in the neighborhood. They inform the CID cops about the murder and discover that their friend has been kidnapped by the killer. The kids are all set to help the CID cops in their investigation.

    MUMBAI: Sony Entertainment Television (Set) is launching a new fiction show titled ?Amita Ka Amit? on 14 January.

    Produced by Swastik Productions, the show will air every Monday to Thursday at 8.30 pm.

    ?Amita Ka Amit? will compete with Colors? Madhubala, Star Plus? Ek Hazarome Meri Behena hai and Zee TV?s Hitler Didi.

    Set CCO Vivek Bahl said, "What makes Amita Ka Amit stand apart is the simplicity of the narrative and the universality of the premise, this is almost every Indian married couple?s story. This simple yet relatable story will surely strike the right chord with viewers as at some point in time we may have had expectations like Amita. The cast is fresh and the story is engaging. We look forward to the show being liked by our viewers."

    MUMBAI: Sony Pictures Television (SPT) has sold the format of its magazine talk show, ?The Dr Oz Show?, to TRANS TV in Indonesia. The announcement was made by SPT executive VP, distribution, Asia-Pacific Angel Orengo.

    Trans TV will produce the local version of The Dr Oz Show, which will consist of at least 60 episodes to air daily during daytime. The talk show is slated to launch in early 2013.

    Orengo said, "The sale of The Dr Oz Show format to Trans TV reaffirms that there is a growing potential and appeal in Asia-Pacific for US talk shows with universal themes such as health and wellness. Indonesia is an important market for us and we?re confident the format will resonate with audiences across the country."

    PT, Televisi Transformasi Indonesia programming, operations director Achmad Ferizco Irwan said,"Trans TV is very pleased and excited to be working with Sony Pictures Television on this production. We believe ?The Dr. Oz Show? has become a household name across America and has helped many people with the various health and lifestyle issues of today. We are optimistic that this same program will be a hit in Indonesia, proving a reliable health and wellness source for our audience to turn to".

    The ?The Dr. Oz Show? is a series hosted by trusted health expert, best-selling author, and cardiac surgeon Dr. Mehmet Oz. Other territories to develop a series based on the format of The Dr Oz Show include China, Russia, India, Brazil, France, Armenia, Chile, Colombia and the Middle East. The show is co-produced by Harpo Productions and SPT.
