    MUMBAI: Food and food lifestyle channel Foodfood will launch its new weekly show ‘Roti Raasta Aur India‘ on August 24. The show is powered by Dabur Hajmola while Coca Cola and Tata I - Shakti Dal are associate sponsors. Daawat Basmati has come on board as the ‘rice partner‘.

    The show will be aired every Friday at 8 pm with winner of cooking reality show Foodfood Mahachallenge Chef Saransh Goila anchoring the show that follows his journey to discover the local food and flavours of the country. The show will also have a daily video diary updated by Golia where he will share his experiences of the day and discuss the next day.

    The show will track an informative journey down the India, taking a look at its culinary heritage and tracing its history. It will showcase traditional Indian cuisine, rich and diverse in flavours, made with distinct cooking methodologies and authentic utensils, originating from every region in India.

    Roti Raasta Aur India is a show about a man who desires to cook for India and eat with India. In an attempt to discover ‘Roti‘ from various parts of India Goila will be seen traveling across the country and interacting with everyday people leading their routine lives. The show follows his exploits as he collects food stories, meets new communities, cooks for them and eats with them. The show will cover diverse regions of the country like Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and West Bengal, amongst others.

    Foodfood promoter Sanjeev Kapoor said "This show is a unique travelogue that will touch millions of lives in India and explore their relationship with food. It aims to bring closer every part of the country with the other - through the medium we all love and understand - food!"

    MUMBAI: FoodFood, the food and food lifestyle channel, is launching a new show ?Style Chef? on 21 June. The show will focus on how to make global cuisine using Indian spices and ingredients.

    Hosted by Chef Shailendra Kekade, it is a weekly show and will be aired every Thursday at 1.30 pm.

    FoodFood promoter Sanjeev Kapoor said, "Like our other shows, Style Chef is also a very informative and entertaining show. Chef Shailendra will teach you to add a dash of delicious fresh flavour to your everyday meals. This show is an attempt to turn our viewers into Super Chefs who can prepare designer foods in their own kitchens."

    Style Chef is a show that will feature simple yet "exotic and unusual" recipes using appliances and materials found in every Indian kitchen, with readily available ingredients, the channel said.

  • New season of Tea Time premieres on FoodFood on 29 May

    MUMBAI: Food and food lifestyle channel FoodFood is set to launch the new season of Tea Time today with episodes airing every Tuesday and Wednesday at 4 pm. The show will be hosted by channel?s resident food editor Chef Rakesh Sethi.

    Over the half hour show, Sethi will share his experiences and experiments in the kitchen with his viewers and present international and Indian recipes that can be served during tea time or any snack time.

    Foodfood channel promoter Sanjeev Kapoor said, "Our research showed us that housewives are always on the lookout for interesting treats to serve between meals. This show not only explains the importance of snack time to our viewers, but also provides healthy recipes that they can easily cook for friends and family."

    Foodfood is a joint venture between Astro Overseas Limited (Astro), Turmeric Vision (TVPL) and Mogae Consultants.

    MUMBAI: Food and lifestyle channel Foodfood is gearing up to launch second season of Health Maange More on 5 April.

    In the second edition, the show will be called Health Maange More with Anjali Mukerjee and will be hosted by chef Shantanu Gupte and nutritionist Anjali Mukerjee.

    The show will be aired every Monday and Thursday at 1 pm.

    This season every episode will be built around a theme where Mukerjee and Gupte will discuss lifestyle problems faced by people in their everyday life. Mukherjee will discuss the symptoms and control of these problems through food while Gupte will cook recipes based on the same theme.

    Some of the topics that will be discussed include handling sugar cravings, weight loss, detoxifying, cholesterol problems, diabetes, acidity, heart burn and many more.

    FoodFood Promoter Sanjeev Kapoor said, "We always aim to entertain our viewers with more and more interesting concepts.
