Fox News elevates Clemente, Moody
MUMBAI: US news broadcaster Fox News has elevated two executives in the network's hard news division.
MUMBAI: Continuing its experiment with short format shows, Multi Screen Media-owned Hindi music channel Sony Mix is launching a new show ?Mix Tippani?, starting 16 September.
Through Tippani, Mix aims to win over audiences with presentation of information on music. Scheduled hourly like all short programming formats, the show will be presented by RJ Mantra and Umang Jain.

MUMBAI: Network18 Publishing has elevated EVP- Sales Mukhtar Qureshi to COO for Business Directories Division. The Business Directories Division portfolio includes multi-city editions of Yellow Pages business directories, Machine Tool Guide, Indian Exporters Guide, Construction and Interior Design Guide, Industries State Guide and Motor Pumps and Valves directories.

Qureshi brings with him over 21 years of experience in sales and operations. He had joined Infomedia18 in 2005 as deputy general manager. He was later elevated to Vice president - sales in April 2008 and then to EVP-sales in October 2008. Prior to joining Infomedia18, he had also worked with Tata Press and Tata Infomedia.
Infomedia18?s publishing business, recently demerged and consolidated within Network18 under ?Network18 Publishing?, encompasses three divisions of Infomedia18?s publishing business - Business to Consumer (B2C) magazines, Business to Business (B2B) magazines and Business Directories Division.
MUMBAI: Red FM COO Rana Barua has put in his papers after spending two years at the FM company.
Sources in the company have confirmed the development to radioandmusic.com. However, Barua was not reachable till the time of filing this report.
Red FM is the popular private FM brand of Marans-owned Sun TV Network. The company operates 45 FM stations in the country.
Prior to joining Red FM, Barua was with Radio City for five years as EVP and national head - programming.
Earlier, he was with Bates Enterprises for over two years.
MUMBAI: The churn at Imagine TV continues after it was acquired from NDTV by Turner. The latest to join the exodus is Harsh Rohatgi who was working as programming and marketing head of Imagine TV.
Confirming the news to Indiantelevision.com, Rohatgi said, ?My journey with Imagine TV has been good. Now that Vivek (Bahl, Turner chief content officer) has come, I am sure that the channel is going to do better.?
Rohatgi has quit Imagine TV to launch his own venture within a few weeks.
Rohatgi joined Imagine TV as EVP ? Revenue Management and New Ventures in 2007 when it was a part of NDTV group. He was promoted to head of content and communication for Imagine TV in 2010.
Prior to joining NDTV Imagine, he was GM-Content and Communication at Star India.
Others who moved on from Turner General Entertainment Networks India ltd. in 2011 were Sameer Nair (CEO), Saurabh Tewari (fiction head) and Nihkil Madhok (senior director - marketing and communications).
MUMBAI: Max, the Hindi movies and special events channel, has introduced a new movie slot titled Max Film Club every Saturday night after the 8 pm "Maha Movie".
In the Saturday night offering, Max Film Club will showcase Indian cinema?s milestone movies that have entertained audiences across generations.
Max film club will offer a wide range of critically acclaimed titles like Aandhi, Ijaazat, Firaaq, Bazaar, Mere Apne and evergreen hits like Yaadon Ki Baaraat, Teesri Manzil, Aradhana, Kabhi Kabhie, Anand and Gol Maal among others.
