• ET Now launches two new market shows

    MUMBAI: ET Now, the English business news channel from Times Television Network, is extending the line-up of its market shows on weekends.

    The channel is adding two new shows - ?Meet your Fund Manager?, and ?Buy Now-Sell Now Weekend? (BNSN Weekend) - starting 26 May and 9 June respectively.

    The market focused shows will offer targeted programming to all segments of retail investors that include equity investors, long-term personal finance planners and short-term traders and share knowledge and insights from personal finance consultants, fundamental experts, supported by research team and anchors.

    Meet your Fund manager will be anchored by Tanvir Gill and will be aired on Saturdays (3.30 pm and 8.30 pm), Sundays (10 am and 8.30 pm) and Tuesdays (10.30 pm). The show will bring viewers a closer look at the people who manage the bulk of retail investors? money: the fund managers and chief investment officers of leading asset management companies. Each episode will feature one fund manager, and go into details about his investment style, strategies of the specific funds he manages, and will end with an impartial evaluation of that fund house?s offerings by Dhirendra Kumar of Value Research.

    ?BNSN Weekend? will be anchored by the duo Avanne Dubash and Megha Chaddah on Saturdays (10 am) and Sundays (8.30 am, 2 pm and 8 pm). This show will give specific buy, sell or hold advice to retail investors. In addition to that, a fundamental expert will do a portfolio analysis for viewers every week and discuss three stock picks (small, mid and large-cap) of his/her choice.

    MUMBAI: Times Television Network (TTN) is assigning additional responsibilities to Zoom and ET Now CEO Avinash Kaul.

    Kaul will now also be responsible for English news channel Times Now, sources said.

    In December 2011 TTN had elevated Kaul, who was CEO of Zoom, by giving him additional responsibilities of the network?s English business news channel ET Now. It had also named Movies Now CEO Ajay Trigunayat as the CEO of Hollywood Channels.

    MUMBAI: Times Television Network has appointed Ayesha Surty as Head, syndication and digital revenues.

    Surty will be based out of Mumbai and will focus on building relationships and maximising revenue opportunities with content and brand presence across platforms. She will report to Zoom and ET Now CEO Avinash Kaul.

    Kaul said, ?Times Television Network has a significant presence across digital platforms and content syndication. Content of the network channels is deployed across all major digital platforms and to various national and international broadcasters. Ayesha?s joining the network will take business to the next level ensuring that our rich content is made accessible to as many people across the globe through all possible platforms.?

    Surty added, ?Times Television Network with leadership brands of Times Now, ET Now, Movies Now and Zoom has incredible content which can be very effectively channelized to bring in revenue through varied tie-ups and associations.?

    Surty comes with over 12 years of experience. Her last assignment was with Imagine TV as the associate director ? content sales and digital media.
