MUMBAI: It was a big deal for a 90s kid from non-metro India to get hands on a Batman or Superman figurine.
MUMBAI: Sahara One has a new business head in senior TV executive Arpit Agarwal.
Agarwal was earlier head of strategic management advisory group (media & entertainment) in the Sahara Group chairman Subroto Roy?s office.
According to a source close to the development, Agarwal?s appointment was finalised over this weekend on 27 April.
Agarwal will report to Sahara media & entertainment head Sandeep Wadhwa.
Agrawal has over 18 years of experience in the media industry in India and the Asia Pacific region, according to his linkedin.com profile. He spent over seven years with NDTV in its creative team before moving into Singapore to work for two of the largest factual entertainment firms there Bang Singapore and VHQ TV. He returned to India as Miditech business head for a year and followed it up with a stint as head operations at Balaji Telefilms. Prior to joining Sahara in December 2011, he was head ? operations at Fremantle India.
