MUMBAI: Emmy Award winner Tina Fey writes, executive-produces and stars as Liz Lemon in "30 Rock," a Golden Globe Award-winning American sitcom. 30 Rock is a workplace comedy where the workplace exists behind-the-scenes of a live variety show. The show is told through the comedic voice of Fey and features Alec Baldwin ("The Aviator," "The Cooler"), Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Awards for Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series as Jack Donaghy. Alec is the brash new network executive who has turned the show upside down with his meddling ways. Meet Liz Lemon, the head writer of a demanding, live sketch-comedy series called "The Girlie Show". Although she‘s always up to her ears with work, this single woman is happy with her life because she‘s living the dream of every comedy writer in the Big Apple. That is until a brash new network executive comes into the picture?
Network boss Jack Donaghy is cool, calm and egotistical. Despite being a newcomer to showbiz, he believes that he is well qualified to fix "The Girlie Show"? even though it‘s not broken. His remedy? To put the wild and unstable movie star Tracy Jordan (Tracy Morgan) on the show! Liz is now bullied into managing the unmanageable so that the show - and her dream - can go on.
In the first episode see Jack introduce Liz to Devon Banks. He was a big shot West coast NBC executive that Jack was convinced wanted his job. Jack hatched a plan and hoped that Devon would divulge all of his secrets to his object of lust, Kenneth!
