    MUMBAI: The excitement and thrill of the Coca Cola Speed Jamming continued in the city of dreams, Mumbai during the auditions and regional rounds. After Delhi, Chandigarh and Bangalore, contestants were hi-spirited to be part of Coca Cola Speed Jamming in association with Zoom Television, India‘s premier Lifestyle and entertainment channel and the lucky duo to win the Mumbai regional round were Abhishek Dixit and Karishma Sakhrani.

    The auditions followed by the regional rounds were held on 3rd June at Squeeze, 15th Khar Road, Mumbai with Anchal Kumar, Hanif Hilal, Teena Choudhary (Zoom) present to cheer the contestants.   • Coca Cola celebrates World Environment Day

    MUMBAI: Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Pvt. Ltd. celebrated the World Environment Day by undertaking a slew of cleanliness activities in Mumbai.

    Dedicating bore wells and pipelines, organising tree plantation drive, conducting free PUC check ups were the part of their initiatives.

    Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Pvt. Ltd. Also sponsored dustbins and presented them to Hon. Mayor of Mumbai Dr. Shubha Raul, at the mayor‘s bungalow, to support the Municipal Corporations of Greater Mumbai‘s clean Mumbai drive.

    Along with the Hon. Mayor of Mumbai, Dr. Jairaj Phatak, Municipal Commissioner and top BMC officials were also present at the ocassion.

    Speaking at the occasion, Hon. Mayor of Mumbai, Dr Shubha Raul, said, "MCGM is open to partnering with corporates today to protect the environment.   • IBN 7 re-launches Hindustan ki Kasam in a new avatar

    MUMBAI: IBN 7 has re-launched it‘s popular series - Hindustan ki Kasam in a fresh new format. The series, previously associated with infrastructural issues and other campaign-based stories, will now predominantly focus on human interest stories directly or indirectly related to the day‘s news. Concerned authorities and experts will be asked to participate in these cases and provide their valued opinions. The shows airs everyday at 5:30 pm only on IBN 7

    An example of story on Hindustan ki Kasam that was aired very recently was that of an engaged couple, where the girl was a Dera follower while the boy and his family were patrons of the Akali Dal. With tensions in Punjab over the Dera Sacha Sauda controversy, the couple‘s engagement was broken off leaving the two distressed. While the episode focused on this particular couple it also discussed the repercussion of such communal unrest on various different relationships. Stories like this and other topical and contemporary issues -all associated with the current news and happenings - will be the focus of Hindustan ki Kasam henceforth.

    MUMBAI : Radio City 91.1 FM is observing World Environment Day on 5 June through a host of interactive community mobilisation initiatives with listeners in Mumbai, New Delhi, Bangalore and Lucknow.With the single objective of enhancing awareness on current environmental concerns and propagate the importance of a cleaner, greener and pollution free environment, Radio City has lined up a series of on ground activities and special programming features in each of these cities.

    To celebrate the endeavours of socially responsible citizens of Delhi, Radio City, Delhi is joining hands with Swechha (We for Yamuna) and the British Council India to usher in ‘Yamunotsav - the celebration of the spirit of Yamuna‘; to draw the attention of Delhiites towards critical environmental concerns.
