Moto GP: Grand Prix, Catalunya Live on Ten Sports
MUMBAI: Valentino Rossi believes this weekend‘s Catalan Grand Prix will see a three-way fight for victory between himself, Dani Pedrosa and Casey Stoner, with all the action to be shown live on Ten Sports.
The three men currently occupy the top three places in the world championship and 28-year-old Italian does not think anybody will be able to match their pace at the Barcelona circuit. Rossi slashed Ducati rider Stoner‘s championship lead from 21 points to just nine with a fine win in front of his home crowd at the Italian Grand Prix last week, although Pedrosa matched his pace for all but the final five laps of the race. And with Barcelona sharing many of the same characteristics as Mugello, Rossi is predicting that the form book will show a similar result, especially as recent developments from tyre supplier Michelin now look to have put Yamaha on a par with Ducati on race pace. Rossi‘s Mugello victory made him the first rider in Moto GP‘s 58-year history to win any one race on six separate occasions, but he could repeat that feat at Barcelona - a track where he took his first top-class podium finish and where he has only been beaten once since 2001. The Moto GP race is one of the three that will be broadcast live on the channel with uninterrupted coverage of the 125cc and 250 cc races as well. Ten Sports broadcasts exclusive coverage of some of the world?s best motorsport including Champ Car, GP 2 and it?s coverage of top bike races worldwide. Schedule:
