    NEW DELHI: College life is the stepping stone to adult world. A complete new experience, the journey is full of fun and excitement.And to make it an unforgettable experience Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM, India‘s hottest radio station is making college life more exhilarating through a series of events across 25 topmost colleges of Jaipur. Each event is designed to engage the students, an ice breaker meant to bridge the gap between freshers and seniors.

    Hosted by popular Radio Mirchi RJ‘s Heena (host of Mirchi Meri Marzi) and Vikas (host of Bumper to Bumper), the excitement was kicked off on August 2007 with a mega show at the International College for girls. Some of the big hits at the event included games like Ad Mad Show (Students‘ interpretations of some popular ads) and who‘s made the best mummy (wrapping your partner with rolls of coloured paper in a fixed time duration), besides singing and dancing competitions. Lots of music, masti and innumerable prizes was the mantra at the college.

    The spirit continues since then with 6 colleges already being covered under the Mirchi Campus Buzz celebrations and 19 more to go. The excitement will continue till 6 September, 2007 and is expected to reach out to around 50,000 students in the city of Jaipur. Some of the colleges being covered by Radio Mirchi include leading names from engineering and management institutes and university colleges of Jaipur. Namely, International College for Girls, Mansarovar; Maharani College, near SMS Hospital; Maharaja College, near SMS Hospital; Kanodia College, JLN Marg; S.S. Jain Subodh Mahila Mahavidhalaya, Rambagh Circle; St. Wilfred‘s, Mansarovar; Rajasthan Institute of Engineering and Technology, Bhankrota; Rajasthan Engineering College for Women, Bhankrota; Vedic Kanya Mahavidyalya, Rajapark; Global Institute of Technology, Sitapura; Yagyavaljya Institute of Technology, Sitapura and more.

    According to Pankaj Raina, Station Director, Radio Mirchi Jaipur, "After a phenomenal response in 2006, Radio Mirchi again brings Campus Buzz for collegiates in Jaipur. What makes Radio Mirchi Campus Buzz different from any other college event is that apart from the usual activities, the endeavour is also to bring forth hidden talents in each college.
